Hello

Ever wonder how you make the front page of the city's daily paper? Coming up this Friday, is a larger-than-life show of oil paintings and yes, they are oil and not acrylic (my apologies for the postcard, Roy). The name of the show is 'The Texture of Renewal', oil paintings on canvas by Roy MacGregor.

Roy's paintings are not quiet studies; they are a victorious celebration of his passion for life. Roy's huge enthusiasm is matched by the size of his works (many are 6' by 3') and the boldness of his colours. Big strokes of thick oil paint sing out an unabashed ode to joy!

Check out the image and your invitation below, mark your calendars and get here on Friday (6 to 8pm), because these paintings are going to go quickly.

P.S. Don't miss Roy's talk at 7.00pm, he is fresh back from Paris, he has tons of energy and is an engaging speaker.

P.P.S. Look on the bright side; look on Roy's flowers and feel 'the pull of life'!

P.P.P.S. If you are booked Friday evening, come by Saturday, 10.00am to 3.00pm and speak with Roy MacGregor: one of the 'great' outdoor painters.
