Parvin Farzaneh

This Thursday, 6.00 to 9.00 pm, we are privileged to present Parvin Farzaneh from Montreal, an international artist who is at home in oil, watercolour, bronze, marble and alabaster. Originally from Iran, Ms. Farzaneh has shown in Teheran, Lausanne, San Diego, Montreal and Toronto.

Whilst her landscapes are evocative, with their play of light, Farzaneh's bronze sculptures of men are a celebration of joy, laughter and happiness. Whether it be the Laurentians of Quebec, the rice fields of Iran, a graceful swan in bronze or a delicate female dancer in alabaster, Parvin Farzaneh communicates her love of life.

I look forward to introducing you to this wonderful artist, Thursday, September 4th, 6.00 to 9.00pm. Ms Farzaneh will give a talk at 7.30 pm with questions to follow.

Show continues until October 1st, 2008.
