What happens when the sitting "subject" starts
talking and is no
longer the "object"? As a practising psychiatrist,
Sherry Tompalski
is interested in the subconscious interaction between people,
in a
sense our silent dialogues. In one of the six series featured
in this
show, Tompalski collaborates with Graham Thompson to capture
on film
the voice of the subject and the reply in paint by Sherry.
An
interplay of audio and visual. Also showing are paintings
of jewelled
body parts, female boxers, abstracts and collages of re-assembled
selves. This show will intrigue, delight and surprise you.
Come and meet Sherry and Graham on Thursday, October 4th
