"The Ridgeway Windows"
by Ted Goodden
Opening: Thursday, March 6th 2008, 6-8 pm
Talk by Ted Goodden at 7 pm
Show continues to March 27th 2008
From London Ontario, Ted Goodden's varied background includes
working as a dustman in Wales, training to be a clinical psychologist,
a three year apprenticeship in stained glass restoration with
Theo Lubbers in Montreal and a further year long apprenticeship
with Patrick Reyntiens in England. Gooddens has shown in Canada
since 1980.
This show, which has been touring Southern Ontario, is concerned
with home, place and region. "I feel that the elaboration
of place-bound identities has become more, rather than less,
important in a world of diminishing spatial boundaries."
Come out and meet Ted here on Thursday. Ted's wife, Cornelia,
will also be present and will be giving a poetry reading later
at a local pub.
